Nordea Announces a Competition to 10 Paid Summer Study Practice Places

Nordea announces a competition for students to 10 places of summer practice in various structural units of the bank. It is a paid 1- 3 month study practice and the application deadline is 28 May.

„Also this summer we encourage to apply active and ready-to-learn students, eager in obtaining their first professional experience in the largest North-European bank. Trainees will become full-fledged members of our team and therefore during the selection procedure we will not only evaluate the educational background, but also motivation, interest and initiative," tells Nordea Personnel Manager Viktorija Veisa.

Within the recent years more than hundred Latvian students have participated in the Nordea study practice program. Moreover, a competition for winter study practice places was announced this January where out of 100 applicants 12 students were chosen to start traineeship in the bank.

Application

We invite to apply for summer study practice places young people having special interest in obtaining practical experience in the following fields – public relations, loan administration, credit analysis, product and services development, private customer debt recovery and restructuring, corporate issues, administrative matters and sales department.

Young people are given the possibility to increase practical competency in the profession of interest and also acquaint with the work of other departments of the bank. During study practice Nordea provides employee training, supervision of an experienced and ready to assist mentor, the minimum salary of the country, clearly defined practice tasks and evaluation criteria. The study practice lasts up to three months. The place of work of the trainees will be the Nordea House K. Valdemara street 62, Riga. 

The deadline for application is 28 May. Eligible applicants will be invited to an interview with the representative of the Personnel Management Department and the potential mentor. 10 most suitable applicants will be able to start the summer study practice already June this year.
