Nordea Announces a Competition to Paid Winter Study Practice Places
Nordea announces a competition for students to 10 places of practice in various structural units of the bank. It is a paid 1- 3 month study practice and the application deadline is 5 February.
„Nordea study practice program has gained much popularity among students. Last year there were 15 students in average fighting for one place of practice. Students should consider that during the time of practice they become full-fledged members of bank’s team and therefore during the selection process we highly appreciate not only the knowledge of the student, but also the demonstrated interest and initiative”, tells Nordea Personnel Manager Viktorija Veisa.
Last year there were 30 trainees in Nordea from various higher educational establishment of Latvia, for the majority of which study practice in Nordea was part of the study requirements of the educational establishment, though for many students it is a self initiative to obtain practical experience in a field of interest.
Application
Nordea announces a competition to 10 study practice places in different structural units of Nordea. „The team of the bank is very multiform. From 500 employees of the bank, almost half work with customers – both private and corporate. However, it is to be underlined that our team consists also of representatives of different other professions – accountants, lawyers, public relations, sales and marketing, personnel management and information technology specialists and other ensuring fulfillment of bank’s functions to provide top service to our customers” underlines V.Veisa.
We invite to apply for winter study practice young people having special interest to obtain practical experience in the following fields - cash management product development, sales and marketing, private customer debt recovery and restructuring, administrative matters and local corporate customer service.
Young people are given the possibility to increase practical competency in the profession of interest and also acquaint with the work of other departments of the bank. During study practice Nordea provides employee training, supervision of an experienced and ready to assist mentor, the minimum salary of the country, clearly defined practice tasks and evaluation criteria. The study practice lasts from one to three months.
The deadline for application to the competition is 5 February. Please send your CV and a cover letter to info@nordea.lv with the reference „Study Practice”. Eligible applicants will be invited to an interview with the representative of the Personnel Management Department and the potential mentor. 10 chosen applicants will be invited to start their study practice already from 20 February.
