From the 1st of February, the Customer Service Unit "Ventspils" will be closed
Evaluating the business results, potential and opportunities for growth in the long term, as well as the advantages of the modern remote services which are more and more in line with the changing customer behaviour, from the 1st of February, the Nordea regional Customer Service Unit "Ventspils” will be closed. Nordea will continue to offer outstanding service and a comprehensive range of services to customers affected by the changes both in the Customer Service Unit "Liepaja" and remotely.
With the increasing popularity of innovative digital solutions and with the pace of life becoming more rapid, remote services are given a more and more important role in our daily life – Nordea is also aware of that by actively developing the capacity of Nordea Online. This is a deliberate decision based on a thorough analysis of the business results and their impact on the business in the long run, which will give a positive result to the overall work of the Nordea Retail Banking Department.
During these years the Customer Service Unit "Ventspils" team has invested a lot of work, which has helped strengthen Nordea customer service. Today human behavioural change when receiving services has a major impact, which is why an entrepreneur has to adapt and evolve. Taking care of providing banking services in the region, corporate customers are offered the opportunity to meet face to face with the bank's Customer Manager or Personal Financial Adviser in the Customer Service Unit "Liepaja". Nordea will continue to offer Online meetings as the most suitable and convenient solution for both corporate and private customers. Today a large part of the bank's customers already receive daily services remotely.
