Nordea closely cooperates with leading higher education institutions of Latvia in order to provide practice and knowledge for young specialists. Every year more than 40 students from different higher education institutions of Latvia join Nordea trainee programmes and part of them later find permanent jobs exactly in Nordea. During practice students get paid a salary higher than the minimum salary set by the government.
We gladly will offer practice possibilities to young specialists who have completed higher education, but haven’t got any experience yet.
At the moment we have agreement about practice possibilities with Banking Institution for Higher Education; we offer training also for students of University of Latvia, Riga Tehnical University, Turiba, Stockholm School of Economics in Riga etc.

40 students from higher education institutions of Latvia became trainees in Nordea bank in 2010. Part of them continued cooperation with Nordea bank after fulfiling practice. Another part of those students became Nordea employees after fulfilling their practice. |
