Nordea mobile application provides safe, quick and easy way to use bank services for Apple iPhone and Android powered smartphone users. Download the application for free at AppStore or Play Store sites and enjoy the convenience it provides.

You can easily carry out financial transactions with Nordea mobile application at any time and any place. Once you log in, you will be able to:

  • Check your account and card balance.
  • See your latest transactions.
  • Make local and international payments.
  • Transfer funds to your credit card account.
  • View loans and leasing information (private customers).
  • Find the closest branch and ATM.


Push notifications

When enabled on your mobile device, push notifications provide instant updates on your accounts*:

  • Notifications when you receive money in your account.
  • Notifications when you make a payment from your account.
  • Notifications when your account balance drops below a certain limit.

You can also enable push notifications to receive general bank information notifications and marketing offers.

*This service is only available for private individuals

You can login using the same authentication methods and devices that you normally use to access private Netbank.

Accounts & cards view

Here you can see your Nordea accounts and payment cards, as well as their available balances. In the top part of the screen information about unconfirmed payments, mail or other notifications is shown (if relevant).

The app’s side menu

 You can open it by tapping on the button in the top-left corner or by swiping it out from the left side of the screen. Menu provides access to all the functions of the app. Starting from information about accounts, cards, payments and ATMs to calculators and Nordea news feed.

Using the new filtering function you can look for closest ATMs by using the Cash-in and Cash-out search options, as well as filter out ATMs by their working hours.

Information on the processing of personal data in the Nordea banking application Mobile Bank ("The banking app")

Nordea’s banking app allows you to perform basic banking services. These banking services are governed by Nordea’s General Terms and Conditions. Nordea mobile apps have implemented the following safety features to ensure that your data is always safe and no external parties can access information in Nordea apps:

  • Encryption of data being sent to and from the mobile application
  • Encryption of all data stored on the device
  • Personal data protection
  • No personal data is saved or kept on the device
  • Multi-factor authentication

Free use of the data is valid, while the user is in the territory of Latvia. Note: megabytes used for receiving services from third parties, e.g. searching for information in maps (ATMs, branches and points of sales), and megabytes required to download and update the application will be charged according to the rate plan.

What do I need to start using push notification service?

To start using the push notification service you need the Nordea mobile application installed on your smartphone (Android or iPhone), a working internet connection, and enabled push notifications on your device.

How can I enable push notifications?

By default, your notification service will not be enabled after the Nordea application is installed (or updated – if you have previous application version). To start using the service you need to open the Settings tab in the Nordea mobile banking app’s menu and click on Push Notification settings. You can then enable the service by selecting the slider next to Enable Push Notifications and customize your push notification settings for specific accounts. After saving your settings, you will receive push notifications whenever something happens in your accounts! If you would like to receive push notifications on another smartphone, you will need to enable the service on that device as well.

                 


How can I turn off push notifications?

You can always disable push notifications by heading to the Push Notifications settings section in the mobile banking app on your device. Turn off the slider next to Enable Push Notifications to disable the notification service on that particular device.

I have lost my phone! How can I disable push notifications?

If you have lost your phone, you need to immediately inform our Contact Centre 24/7 by calling 67 096 096.

  • Quick login - 4-digit password created by you.
  • Electronic identification codes or code calculator provided by Nordea.

Nordea mobile netbank is available via Nordea mobile application or by entering the address mobile.nordea.lv in your phone.

Nordea mobile netbank gives you access to basic banking services:

  • Follow the transaction history.
  • Make payments and check the cash inflow.
  • See the card information.
  • View information about your credits and leasing.
  • Switch between private customer’s netbank and corporate customer’s netbank.
  • Send and receive bank reports.

To use the mobile netbank, your phone should support data transmission connection and should be equipped with an HTML browser. The connection is made using data transmission technology.

The security of mobile netbank services is guaranteed by VeriSign digital certificate and SSL standard.


Light login

The quick login is a static password created by you — 4-digit combination for convenient netbank use. When logging in with this password on the netbank or the mobile netbank, you can:

  • check your account balance;
  • see the information about services currently available at Nordea Bank;
  • make payments between your accounts without additional login.

To perform other transactions, the system will automatically prompt you to enter the authorization code from the code card or code calculator.


How to create a 4-digit password?

  • Go to the mobile netbank menu section „Settings” and “Quick login password”.
  • Choose your 4-digit password and enter it into the indicated field. The password should contain 4 digits; at least two of the digits should be different. Using four consecutive digits (e.g. 1234) is not allowed.
  • Confirm your transaction with a code from code card or code calculator, or by the application.
  • For security reasons, the password will have to be changed every three months.
  • When visiting the mobile netbank in the future, you will be able to choose the type of login — with a quick login password, a code from the code card or code calculator.
