Cash Operations

All prices are in Latvian lats (LVL), if it is not specified in particular position otherwise.
           
5. Cash Operations
Operations are made with USD, EUR, SEK, DKK, NOK, GBP, CHF, LTL banknotes and LVL banknotes and coins.
5.1 Cash payment into payer's current account.
If payer wants to pay-in cash in any currency and sum exceeds LVL 10 000 per day, Bank should be notified one day in advance before 14:00. If client wants to pay-in equivalent to sum above LVL 10 000 per day without prior notification, additional fee is collected.
5.1.1 LVL to LVL 10 000 (including) per deal

5.2 Currency exchange in cash only for clients, who have an account in Nordea Bank Finland Plc Latvia Branch

5.3 Cash withdrawal from account.
If cash withdrawal is in LVL, USD, EUR and sum exceeds 10 000 per day, Bank should be notified one business day in advance before 14:00 in Riga client servicing units or two business days in advance before 14:00 in client servicing units outside Riga. If client wants cash withdrawal in SEK, DKK, NOK, GBP, LTL or CHF, client has to declare sum of money 3 business days In advance. If cash withdrawal is above LVL 70 000 or equivalent in other currency, client has to declare sum of money 3 business days in advance before 14:00. If client wants cash withdrawal in LVL, EUR, USD above 10 000 or SEK, DKK, NOK, GBP, LTL, CHF without declaration in advance, then fee of charge is deducted, but Bank reserves the rights to not pay out requested money in case if currency is not enough.
When ordering cash beforehand, 50% of the fee is charged upon ordering of cash. The remaining fee is charged upon receipt of the order. In case the order is not collected, the already charged fee is not returned. Upon receipt of the cash above LVL 10 000 or equivalent in other currency passport or identification card is used as  identification document.

5.4 Processing of Banknotes and Coins (Exchange or Cash payment into an account). Service available only for clients who have an account in Nordea Bank Finland Plc Latvia branch
5.4.1 Processing of coins (LVL)

5.4.2 Exchange of USD banknotes issued in 1928 - 1996 and old style £20 banknotes (with Sir. Edward Elgar portrait), exchange of damaged, worn, discoloured and contaminated USD, EUR, CHF, DKK, GBP, LTL, NOK and SEK banknotes. Tinted and burned banknotes are not accepted.  The bank retains rights to refuse acceptance of damaged banknotes, if they do not conform  to internal regulations of the bank.
If Cash Collection services are being used, commission fee shall be debited from clients account.
