How to Become a Customer
To become a Nordea client:
- Call the Nordea Contact Center at +371 67 096 096.
You can apply for the current account opening and connect to the Netbank for free as well as apply for the payment card by phone. Please send the copy of your passport by fax at +371 67 005 690 or by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. Specify the most convenient Nordea Customer Service Unit where you can sign the documents.
At any Nordea Customer Service Unit.
- In order to open a current account the applicant must be at least 18 years old. A passport or identity card should be presented. Minors require written consent from at least one parent or a guardian. When you open a current account at Nordea Bank, you have the possibility to simultaneously close your accounts at other banks as well as to transfer to Nordea scheduled payments and automatic payment processed in other banks according to the principles developed by the Association of Latvian Commercial Banks "Common Principles on Current Account Switching for Individuals".
- On Nordea Application Portal.
In order to apply for the bank account, you will need to fill in the Account opening application on the Application Portal, attaching a copy of your passport or ID card. Once you submit your application, the Bank will contact you within one business day to agree on the preferable Customer Service Unit for proving your identity in person and signing th e documents.
