What is Online Consultation?

Online consultation is a flexible means to do your banking anywhere – at your home, office or summer cottage. You will need a computer, an Internet connection, a telephone and Nordea's access codes.

In an online consultation you can discuss any questions related to your finances, for example, your savings, investments, cards, consumer credits and insurance. You will be shown related material and calculations on your computer screen, while you are discussing your banking on the phone or by using comupter headset with a microphone.

It is possible to book the time of Online consultation by calling Nordea Contact Centre 24/7 at 67 096 096. Nordea Gold Customers can also book the meeting time by making an individual agreement with Personal Banking Adviser.

Make an appointment for an online consultation

  • You will receive a confirmation message about the online consultation in your Netbank in section Mail.


Prepare for an online consultation

  • Log into your Netbank.
  • In section Mail, Read the invitation to the consultation and the agenda.
  • Test the compatibility of your computer in accordance with the instructions in Netbank.


At the start of the consultation

  • In Netbanks section Mail, open the message about Online consultation.
  • If during the consultation you will not be able to use comupter headset with microphone, in the letter you will find the phone number and access code to be able to communicate with your financial adviser by telephone.


Join the online consultation

Join the online consultation by clicking the consultation link in your Netbank (regardless of whether you will use phone or comupter headset with a microphone to communicate).

  • If you are using a computer, Netbank will transfer you to the Lync Web App page. Allow the plug-in to run.
  • Type your name and click 'Join the consultation'.
  • If you are using an iPad or a Windows tablet, install Lync 2013 in the tablet before joining the consultation
  • Wait until you are admitted to the consultation.


You can use an iPad or a Windows tablet for the online consultation if you have a Wifi connection and you have installed Lync 2013 in your iPad or Windows tablet.

The online consultation will work when you use one of the below-mentioned operating systems and browsers. We recommend the use of Internet Explorer.

You can use an iPad or a Windows tablet for the online consultation if you have a Wifi connection and you have installed Lync 2013 in your iPad or Windows tablet. Install the Lync 2013 before the online consultation. For the time being, it is not possible to participate in an online consultation with an Android tablet.

On the page under the link you are prompted to allow the plug-in to run, type your name and join the consultation. If you can access the virtual lobby, you will know that everything works as it should.
