FAQ

1. How to act if I have used all E-services’ identification codes? How will I receive new ones?

As soon as you will use 90th code the new code card will be generated automatically. It will be sent by post to the address stated in your user’s agreement approximately in 3-5 days time. To make sure, which address will be used to ship your new codes, please visit section Settings/Contact data, where you can find your contact information that’s in bank’s use.

In case if contact information is not correct or you have changed your place of residence, it is important to renew this information. You can do it in the same section.

2. How can I convert money, for example, from LVL to EUR?

Click on “Own transfer” in the left navigation of Start page or in Payments section. In field “From Account” choose your LVL account and in field “Beneficiary’s account” choose your EUR account, to which payment will be made.
You can transfer either amount in LVL or in EUR by choosing required currency in field “Currency”.

3. Can I get improved exchange rate in Netbank?

In Netbank you can make an exchange only according to standard currency exchange rates.

4. What is Account daily limit?

For security reasons each of your accounts has a certain daily limit (by standard it’s LVL 1 000 or equivalent in other currency unless stated otherwise in agreement). This limit includes all payments, which are made with account during the day, not depending on their number. This limit does not include operations that are made during the same day with payment cards.

Limit can be changed by filling out application in section Mail, by calling Nordea bank’s Contact Centre on number +371 67 096 096 or visiting any Nordea Customer service unit.

5. What is maximum account daily limit?

Maximum account daily limit is LVL 40 000 or equivalent in other currency.

6. Is it possible to create the most often payment list in Netbank?

When making payment for the first time, within payment order activate check box “Save beneficiary in register”. Next time you will make payment, choose one of the recipients from the list and if necessary change payment purpose and amount.

7. Is it possible to make a giro payment in Netbank?

Yes. In section E-services click on “Direct debit and E-invoice”. Afterwards choose “Giro payments” in upper part of the page.

8. How much do Netbank’s services cost?

Use of Netbank is free of charge. Commissions are paid only for transactions. But upon conclusion of agreement you can choose subscription option. In this case subscription to Nordea Netbank will cost you small amount a month, but you will be able to carry out unlimited number of local transactions free of charge.

9. What other options does section Mail offer?

This is the part of internetbank that offers you almost unlimited options. In section Mail in a written form you can apply for new services and products offered by bank, for example, loan or opening of new accounts, as well as learn answers to your questions about possibilities offered by bank.
