Nordea in Latvia provides following payments and cash transactions:

Payments / Money Transfers

Payments / Money Transfersoffered by Nordea allow transferring funds fastly, easily and safely. Funds transfers and payments can be implemented employing either Nordea Telephone Bank, Nordea Internetbank, SWIFT MT 103 or MT 202 or submitting filled in payment forms in allClients Service Units.
Nordea offers following Payments and Money Transfers:

  • Domestic / International,
  • In Lats / foreign currencies,
  • Within Riga branch / Nordea / Latvian and foreign banks,
  • Standard / Express. 

To implement International Payments we use extensive correspondent banks' network of Nordea, thus facilitating payments in fast and safe manner throughout the world. Payments within Nordea are executed significantly faster and cheaper.

Cash Deposits / Cash Withdrawals

Nordea Current Account holders have an opportunity to makeCash DepositingorCash Withdrawal operations with current account at any time within standard banking hours. Cash deposit or withdrawal can also be performed in a currency that differs from the current account currency.

Chequebooks

Chequebook issued by Nordea offers opportunity to withdraw cash against cheques - a mean for account holder to authorise a particular person to withdraw specific amount of cash from its current account.

Currency Exchange

Currency Exchange.Nordea offers currency exchangefor LVL, USD, DEM, FIM,EUR, SEK, EEK, LTL, DKK, NOK, GBP, FRF, CHF, NLG. Transactions are based on Bank's exchange rates; special rates may be negotiated for amounts greater than LVL 30 000 or equivalent.

Cash Collection Services

Cash Collection Services offered by the bank allows customer to save time and secures cash delivery between the Bank and a customer. Customer can define the specific time and frequency of Cash Collection to be performed.
