Savings Account
The most flexible reserve-building solution for advanced people who want to save and maintain the option to access their funds at the same time. The amount of deposit and time of adding to your savings account is at your discretion!
Advantages
- The savings account is available for a transfer of any amount at any time. It can be done either visiting Nordea customer service units or via Nordea Netbank.
- For making a transfer to the savings account, the regular payment service might turn out to be a really handy tool, found in Nordea Netbank. With the regular payment activated, the amount selected by you will be transferred to the savings account automatically each month.
- The regular payment also offers the option of automatic transfer of a positive balance of the current account, should that exceed a predefined amount, to the savings account on the last business day of the month.
- The savings account status can be checked via Nordea Netbank.
The total amount of funds deposited in the savings account bears interest, disbursed on the last day of each quarter. The interest rate depends on the amount of funds located within the savings account.

Withdrawal or transfer funds from the savings account requires Nordea to have received an advance notification of 7 days. It can be arranged by:
- writing an application within Nordea Netbank under Mail tab
- submitting an application at any Nordea customer service unit
- calling Nordea Telephonebank at 00 371 67 096 096
Yet easier to transfer money from the savings account to your current account without a commission fee is via Nordea Netbank – when processing the payment order, indicate its execution date on the seventh day from the day of processing the payment order.
Cash withdrawal from the savings account without the respective application, or effecting the transfer sooner than the seventh day from application date would charge you a commission fee as specified in Nordea pricelist.
